Cancellation Policy
Please advise us as soon as possible if you need to rearrange an appointment so that we can offer your time to someone who is in urgent need of dental care.
Here at MDS we try our best to work around your schedule and allocate best appointment time suited you or your loved ones. We are not a large corporate organisation. We are a small business who aim to provide excellent quality dental care at an affordable price. We are only able to achieve that by using efficient appointment times and staff. A short notice cancellation represent a cost to us and scheduling problems for other patients looking to book in.
Due to our small business size and high demand for appointments, we kindly request 24hours cancellation notice.
As we turn away other patients to hold your appointment time, any missed or short notice cancelled appointment may attract a cancellation fee.
- Rescheduling or cancelling appointments with MORE than 24 hours notice is absolutely fine and we will be more than accommodating.
- Rescheduling or cancelling appointments with LESS than 24 hours notice needs a worthy reason as we understand things happen, cancellations for the first time for feeling ill, and/ or emergencies etc will not attract a cancellation fee. However, if you wish to make a second booking then we require an appointment holding fee of $90 which, if you keep your appointment, will be taken off your cost of treatment or refunded if the treatment does not cost up to the $90.
- Procedures that require long appointments, such as teeth whitening, require 50% deposit paid a week before the appointment.
